A visit to Hamilton, Mo Home of Missouri Quilts and a trip to Truman Museum and Library

Ok so Sherry got us to go see this little town that has absolutely nothing in it but quilt stores and a J.C. Penney Museum.  Ok to be fair there was a farm, seed store.

Landed at another Elks Lodge 409.  This one has telephone poles with 30amp service space for 2 RV's.  Set up went to Nina's house.
Visited quilt stores and when we were checking out, Sherry's card got denied.  Come to find out her card had been copied in California and someone was using it.  So we will wait for another card.  Also when we left Basspro and took their car which proceeded  to stall out about 5-6 times.  Called Nina and took car to Honda place.  Looks like we will have to stay in Springfield awhile.Dinner with Nina, Jackie and Webers.

Hot Springs, Arkansas

Had to stop in for a mineral bath, sitz bath, hot packs, needle shower, steam bath and paraffin treatment.

Tom Sawyer Park on Mississippi

We decided to stay on the Mississippi.  Little did we know about all the flooding in the area.  Evidently the water was going around the levee and rising in the campground.  Well here we are side by side, view from my RV to Mississippi, next the Mississippi River, and last the water rising in the campground.

We have loved this park since the first time we stayed there, so it was our first stop.

2015 adventures

some may not know this but the last two years we have spent in medical mess!  Jim had a Internal fibrillator pacemaker inserted just after we got back from a trip to Peru, Amazon and Machu Picchu.  That was 2013, then in 2014 he got a total knee replacement of his right knee in early 2014.  Late in 2013, I was diagnosed with some abnormal nodes in my abdomen.  It turned out to be Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and my medical ride began. Chemo for 5+ months then this year in March a Stem Cell Transplant with my own cells.  CT scan in June was all clear so we began this journey!
