Bird watching

Bird lovers, what is this cutie?  No prizes, just want to test you all.

We were lucky to be able to see the wild ponies of Chincoteague.  Even the young colts, nursing.

The camp ground at Virginia Landings is beautiful, serene, and not very full.  Right on an inlet to the Atlantic Ocean, we are happy the weather is good.

We will be here for 7 days then off to Gettysburg.

Outdoor World on Lake Gaston, Littleton, N.C.

Today Jim wanted to do a bike ride for some sightseeing and exercise. So off we go at 8:40am for a 23 mile ride.  In case you don't know (I didn't) North Carolina has hills!  So three hours later we arrive back at the RV.  Just in time because the thunder started as soon as we were off the bikes.  Along the way were heard some quail calling so Jim went to check.  No he never saw them.

Here we are in South Carolina.  Can you believe that a town has this huge Peach for a water tower.
Good friends and food and nice weather.  How can you go wrong?

Tomorrow we head for Lake Gaston, NC And then points north
